As a person who enjoys watching social strategy games, I have so much trouble envisioning Ben as a good winner. Sure, he's a comp beast, but no one so far has said they had a good social game with him. I'm just not sure I could vote for a barely communicative person as the All-Star winner. On a newbie season? Maybe, but not here unless he really wows me with revelations of his behind-the-scenes strategy and doesn't just use revisionist history to try to gas us into thinking he had more strategic game than he did.

Sharn gives me trouble for the same reason. Her social game was better, be hard not to be, than Ben's, but was it good? It will come down to speeches for me on her as well. If she can weave a story around not just being a floater through most of the game, I'd consider voting her, depending upon my options.

Jarrad
was, until he decided not to be, an equal part of the Bananas alliance and ran the game with us for the first three weeks. I'm going to struggle the most not being bitter with him, but I do still want to hear what moves he thinks he had control over, if any, since then.

After us realizing what a strong force our Imanpa 4 were, David and I landed on Tortillas together on the first swap and then were separated on the second, with M, J and I going on to ally with the entirety of Arumbera while he did so with Papunya. When the four of us, Mat, Jarrad, David and I, were finally reunited at the merge, we continued the quest to take the four Imampas to the final 4 and the 4 we added to the alliance, Sarah, Tegan, Michelle and Daisy, for a final 8.

Rather than jump back over to us overtly, David served as a double agent and gave us the info we needed to get out Jerricho, Nova and Tessa. This complex dual game and his needing to be on good social terms with EVERYONE in the game is what I found most skilled about his gameplay. It's EXHAUSTING to play this way, as all of you social players know, it's a high-touch game requiring heart and soul and TIME to pull off. And to do so with the entire remaining cast while working a very demanding job was astonishing. The alliance eventually exploded, but he's STILL in the game and still making things happen and this makes him a very compelling choice for the winner.

Surprisingly still so oblivious to many key factors of the game and reliably delivering her signature antics, Daisy is the perfect goat.

Yeah I have one. I’ll post it when I’m back on the PC. I actually ate dinner tonight team. One of the perks of being voted out.

IMO Sharn is in the drivers seat to win so as scary as Ben is in a F4 challenge you take her out. If she stays and Ben goes it’s David vs all 3 for FTC (if it’s a three person final)

Jonathan LaPaglia wrote: Wed Aug 11, 2021 8:05:36 pm Ben, who is the biggest threat remaining?
I think Jarrad. I believe we all lose to him if he's at the end. He's popular and has a lot of friends on the jury that will be inclined to vote for him. I don't think that can be said for me.

Jonathan LaPaglia wrote: Wed Aug 11, 2021 8:05:18 pm Jarrad, why keep you tonight?
It would be wise to keep me tonight solely based on the fact that there are people here that stand a much better shot in front of a jury than me, and if you end up sitting with them, you could be throwing away your chance at the win.
these being posted back to back is killing me
